My wife and I moved to ABQ a year ago and needed a new dentist. A dental-hygienist acquaintance recommended Dr. Crisler. My wife saw him first and found him to be thorough and meticulous. So I tried him next. I've had a lot of dental work over the years, from many dentists, and Dr. Crisler is the best. Here's why I can say this: about 20 years ago, a talented dentist installed a "bonded bridge" --- a fake tooth glued in place with a metal bracket --- to fill a gap in my mouth. The bridge worked great for the longest time, but last year it started to fail, the glue and bracket falling apart. I dreaded replacing it, because two dentists told me that the next step was a traditional bridge, which in my case would require that my front tooth and two other teeth be ground down and crowned to support the fake tooth. Dr. Crisler took a close look at the situation, listened to my concerns, and proposed a novel solution --- a hybrid crown/bonded bridge that would leave my front two teeth intact and crown only one tooth in the back of my mouth, which had been already ruined by decay under the failing metal bracket. Over two appointments, Dr. Crisler cleaned up the mess left behind by the old bridge, fashioned a temporary crown and bridge from the fake tooth that he removed, and then worked with his lab to manufacture the replacement. He installed the new bridge a few days ago. It looks and fits great. Dr. Crisler is an experienced, careful dentist who listens to his patients and explains clearly what he does and why. The quality of his work is first rate. His staff are also trained to the same level of competence. I recommend Dr. Crisler and his staff in the strongest terms.

As a older woman, I have been the patient of many dentists. And Dr. Crisler is one of the finest and most professional and incredibly talented dentists I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He diligently checks with me during every procedure to see if I am comfortable and/or experiencing any pain and if I am not comfortable, he immediately remedies the situation. His staff also exhibits the same high caliber quality of care and precision. Dr. Crisler goes above and beyond the regular standard of care as he has called me back that same evening every time I have had a procedure done to check on me to make sure I was doing well. Dr. Crisler is a fantastic dentist and his office is a pleasure to visit. Additionally, please realize that I do not like going to the dentist, but I do not hesitate to visit Dr. Crisler when I have any dental issues and I enjoy interacting with him and his many stellar employees. It is always a good and painless and yes, fun experience.
